Yeah,I was pretty sure it was a tour announcement and am pretty bummed it wasn't,but he is sort of due so I still hold out some hope, maybe he will even play the east coast this time, last tour in 08' I had to go to Nashville and before that in 06' it was Phoenix.

I've only got to see 4 shows, two on the Get Behind the Mule tour in 99',one in Boston and one in NYC and the two aforementioned shows. Each show was just great and it would be hard to pick a favorite due to how different the material was in the three different years I saw him.Seeing him up close at the Ryman in Nashville was special though.I missed out on the 2 NYC benefits he did in 03' and 05' ,I was in S.F. in 03',and 05' was a tough ticket.I would have loved to have seen the Franks Wild Years band with Ralph Carney on horns,Ribot on guitar and Greg Cohen on bass.Other than that you know how infrequently he tours so I count myself lucky to have seen those 4 shows, and owe my friend who is a fanatic a huge debt for wheeling and dealing tickets to those 06' and 08' shows.

Very cool. I like that each performance was so unique you couldn't judge.
